Agree with you on everything but the idea that diet and exercise helps everyone to lose weight. There are multiple factors involved in such conditions such as age, menopause (and andropause) as well as pollutants in food and the environment (from the drug and chemical industries of course) called obesegens.

It's normal to add at least a pound a year starting in the 30's.

A relatively banal example of how the worldly powers encourage drug use to keep humanity enslaved, helpless and defenseless. Banal maybe as compared to the Moloch that is global Big Pharma and their debilitating or even deadly potions. Let’s look at alcohol. Being immersed in a foreign culture for the first time naturally means countless impressions of the new, things in contrast to what is usual in your native culture. When I moved to Germany, one such thing was how remarkably inexpensive alcoholic beverages were as compared to prices in the U.S. (and still are today). Germany is famous for its beer, of course. There are brands of low quality, but not so many. Most German beers are excellent. The standard beer bottle holds 0.5 liter. When I arrived in 2001, I was amazed to see how cheap beer was. As I type this, am looking at a sale price offered by an online shop: 1 case of a first-rate German beer, that is 20 x 0.5 liter bottles (10 liters total). Price? 11.99 Euros (12.92 US dollars) = 1.29 US dollars per liter. Attractive price, no? Now bear in mind, inflation has hit Germany hard too. But hardly impacted the price of domestically produced alcohol (all of this applies to wine as well). Even more suspect are the very cheapest German beers. You find them on the bottom shelf in supermarkets, cans not bottles, also 0.5 liter. No-name brands. I have seen such beers priced at 0.39 Euro cents per 0.5 liter (0.42 US cents). If all of the aforementioned does not point to a weaponizing of alcoholic beverages to ensure that society’s most desperate will remain caged in their alcoholism … well, I’m open to other theories. This is my take. “Which is easier, to say to the sick of the palsy: Thy sins are forgiven thee; or to say: Arise, take up thy bed, and walk.” — Mark 2:9

Tour de force! Absolutely brilliant, quite possibly best thing I've read on this platform since I joined in February. So many gems, I'd fill up the whole section to mention them all. How bout simply "nothing will ever be enough"? Couldn't count how many times I've grumbled those words in anger. Speaking of which, maybe I should take myself out for a stroll 🤣 We have become a sad species indeed. They may kill us all in the end ... but I'm gonna beat them to it and die first from laughing at their stupidity.

About willpower and weight loss. My niece by about age 40 balooned up to 297 lbs. Normal height for a woman. Did everything imaginable with her lifestyle to become that obese. Very depressed by this of course, and at some point she decides the only solution is to have gastric bypass surgery. That is, last I knew, the only form of such surgical procedures that is irreversible. It reduced her stomach capacity by approx. 70%, or so she said. Great. Doctor and "death care" professionals enthusiastically give her the green light, on one condition ... here's the killer ... she must first lose 20 pounds. She had this insane surgery because it was IMPOSSIBLE for her to lose weight, she insisted. But then she duly loses the 20 pounds. All systems go, off to the mutilation ward. Oh yeah, last time I saw her she had gained back significant weight, was nowhere near a good healthy weight. Is that not pitiful?

Just a little speculation/brainstorming. With Big Pharma so much in the news, recently stumbled on Novo Nordisk in context of obesity drugs. Was struck immediately by their logo, which is Apis, an ancient Egyptian bull deity. Started research on that but got sidetracked. The family that originally founded Novo Nordisk, I think it was, were connected with Egyptology, maybe collecting Egyptian antiquities, scholarship in the field. Seemingly they chose the bull deity because of its vitality and so on. Many tend to think of ancient Egypt as fascinating history, pyramids etc. all nice and harmless National Geographic fare. But among the ancient civilizations that were saturated in sorcery, curses, black magic and so on -- I don't think there was a one that surpassed Egypt. All this very tenuous, I realize. But as a devout Catholic, I take paganism, the demonic, magic (ALL magic is black magic) very seriously, consider them absolutely real and present dangers that I defend myself against, with my faith as armor. And symbols can exert remarkable power over human beings. Considering the Novo Nordisk track record, guess I'd feel better if they'd chosen a blossoming flower or a mighty tree of life as their logo. https://www.novonordisk.com/about/our-heritage.html

I wuz never a fan of lousy act-trice an' Ouja laydee Nancy Regan OR her "just say no" campaign (ugh)--'specially when our gubbamint wuz traffickin' drugs of all sorts behind the scenes--BUT there is indeed much ta say about Just Sayin' No. If someone's wartchin' their waistband, it should be "no thank ya" an' done. If they're at some pahrty (I've told my girls this) an' somebuddy offers 'em ANYTHING (drinks 'er worse), I tell 'em jes that--"Say No" (firmly).

Today too many are afraid ta say NO. Sometimes it comes with heat ('er lost chobs, lost appart-mints! we know this 1st hand) but literally all our fambly did wuz say NO. We blamed nobuddy fer the consequences of our decisions--sometimes it's a drag ta miss out on...income, classes, performances.... or dessert. But if the world warn't topsy turvy, EVERY chile would learn to JUST SAY NO! ('or neine, nix, or no thanks!)

I have an adult daughter who took 2 rounds of peptides from a “natural doctor”. It is (supposedly) different from the Pharma drugs in that it is bio identical and they could choose which peptides to use. But it really made her sick after the second round, and she stopped.

Though she has been pursuing health and healing from PCOS for a few years now, before she tried the peptides, the Lord has led her to begin eating fermented foods, kefir, kombucha, fasting, and following the Spirit of the Lord with anything He shows her to do. (always including repentance)🥰

Awesome poem! And article as well. As someone who has virtually never taken drugs of any kind, I'm just gobsmacked at these statistics.

They aren't even pretending they are not trying to kill us anymore. Guess they figure if they throw enough ways to kill ourselves at us, they'll eventually get rid of all of us "extra mouths", as they refer to us.

I agree. Walks and lightening things up are a must. Enjoyed your poem Karen. There is a good recent interview on RFKJr. podcast, Why Ozempic Matters with Calley Means. Frightening, but informative info/interview.

I would also add that the drugs are getting into the water we drink and the waters where fish and animals live ( and making them sick). Jeff Childers (Coffee and Covid)brought to my notice last week the story about fish of many different varieties and sizes along the entire peninsula of Florida having a strange spinning sickness. They swim in circles, sometimes bobbing their heads above the water, until they die. Very concerning.
