But I did feel he at least was coming from a good place for a while there, trying to “fight the power”. But then things turned and his side is ascendant. Things go sideways with power. The devil, whether metaphorically or literally, seizes us. In a ways it’s surprising that some of the most religious people in the country don’t seem to see this with regards to Tucker and, as you point out, lionize Elon Musk, of all people, who basically views himself as a god-emperor. It feels like we are turning into to a science fiction version of Rome.
