I never heard of that tradition. I was always taught and I read in the Bible, that Hagar and Ishmael were thrown out but it was after Isaac was born and Ishmael was a baby. And, as you say, Ishmael became the father of the Arabs.

You misunderstood me. Ishmael was born first, so yes, I misspoke to say he was a baby when he was thrown out but after Isaac was born at some point Hagar and Ishmael.were cast out. What I'd never heard about was Ishmael molesting Isaac. I should have been more clear. Writing this on my phone.

No Ishmael was born first. Abraham went with the servant Hagar to have a child because Sarah was 90 years old and they didnтАЩt think she could get pregnant. If Isaac was already born there was no point in breeding with Hagar. ItтАЩs all in the Torah (your Old Testament) if you care to read it. ЁЯМ║

Yes, I know all of that. I am well aware of Ishmael being born first. Sarah was old, didn't believe the angel and said Abraham should go with her servant girl. I was raised on the Bible my father, Christian author Dave Hunt, a firm supporter of Israel and a Bibke scholar. https://youtu.be/6EYYUgmh218?si=kZxJz1MpRNpj0AvM

I just thought you might find it interesting to hear that Ishmael was a pedophile, but it doesnтАЩt sound like you do. I was confirming the points in your article using ancient Jewish midrash.

IтАЩm actually surprised that as a writer, youтАЩre not open to learning something new. It seems a little strange, especially when you donтАЩt remember the details of the story properly.
