agree about listening to the right or wrong people. I heard from someone who is friends with Peter Navarro, that trump has put together a Team of a thousand or more trusted people to accompany him into office. let's hope that is true. dave

I don't believe that Trump is a "savior" either, but I DO believe that God is using him at this moment in time. He has always used imperfect men to accomplish his ends (King David, and Moses come to mind). I also believe, like you, that his first term in office was greatly hindered, and mostly nullified by the "vipers" (apt description) around him, masquerading as allies. He has said he didn't expect to actually win the first time around and was unprepared when it happened. THIS time, he has 8 years of being honed and tempered in the fires of all the left has thrown at him and he has realized some of the missteps the first time around. He will be much more wary of who he trusts, this time, I think. I'm not sure who you mean are the new set of "vipers" but it seems to me like he has a pretty good group of close advisors around him in RFK, Jr, Tulsi Gabbard, Vivek Ramaswamy and J.D. Vance. I also hope that, many of them having been Democrats before they were driven from that party by the rampant Progressivism in it, that it has the hope of healing some of the rifts in the people on both sides.
Also, I heard Trump say that where he had not given much thought to his faith before the assassination attempts, after learning what a miracle it was that he wasn't killed in the one attempt, he has begun to really think about it and "realize some things". I don't think God prompted those attempts, but I think He may very well have used them to draw Trump closer to His will. We will see in the days to come.

Trump's comments about not wanting to imprison Clinton leads me to believe that he really does not care about peace. One could overlook her mail server but her intervention in Libya and the brutal murder of Qadafi for which she has accepted responsibility merit her being charged with war crimes.
