Yes, I believe God blinded the eyes of the guards to keep your family safe as you delivered Bibles to his people; doing his will. He continues to protect his children today. I had read your essay, but I listened when I saw it available. You have a gift. Please continue sharing it with us.
Hi Karen. Clearly, “how” you do your essays is 100% up to you, however, I want you to know (in case you’re wondering) that I won’t listen to them. Why? Because I can read much faster than you can speak. And I need to read “fast” b/c I am subscribed to at least 10 substacks, and spend another huge chunk of time reading studies and chasing new info on Twitter.
Would it be possible to include both options? That way, those who prefer listening can enjoy listening, and the ones like me can read instead? It is also easier for me to share written work than for me to ask others to find a way, and time to listen. (At my house, that’s a huge ask.) Finally, I often post a paragraph or two from the written essay to create interest in reading the rest, for which I include the source/link.
Just a thought. No intent to offend. Just a desire to save a bit of time. Every minute counts. Thanks for “listening.”
God was definitely with your family when they searched through the suitcase. You're doing a great service. It's not easy finding accurate information these days.

Hi there. The podcast is a new thing that I've started doing along with the written essays. I always post the written essays. Here is the link to How to Become a Domestic Terrorist: https://khmezek.substack.com/p/how-to-become-a-domestic-terrorist
And here is the link to my Substack main page with all the essays: https://khmezek.substack.com/
Thanks for reading!
