Wow. I wrote you an entire story, then had to sign in again! Lost the whole thing! So, I will try again….
This: You’re awesome, Karen! Great form!! Your video was entertaining to me, as my Father was a boxer in his youth. He boxed Joe Louis twice in the early 1930s. Louis won both bouts, but on a TKO…points. Dad was never knocked out in his career. He was on the Chicago team and Mr. Louis was on the Detroit team. Both teams were on the USA team in the Olympics. They won, beating the European team. Dad + Joe became good friends for years, and they had lots of funny stories of their teams touring the circuit. Yet, it was a sad time as young boxers endured tremendous physical injury for a couple of bucks during the Great Depression. I was a “late-in-life” addition to the family, but even though I was a girl, Dad taught me how to box. My older brother won the championship at Marquette University ca. 1960. Thank you for your video, and for allowing me to share some old memories. Keep up your Roper-Dope! Stay strong! You’re a good boxer. 💪
Wow, so.enjoyed reading this! Your father sounds amazing. How great that he trained you. Just goes to show, you put something out there and you never know what amazing things will come back at you--like your great response! I was offered to fight professionally many times but always turned it down. I would have had to give everything to it (that's how I am) and I was a single mother raising my kids plus building a nonprofit, a creative writing program for incarcerated youth, and could not fragment myself any further. I made the right choice but these choices aren't always easy!
Thank You, Karen. I recall you mentioning the professional offers, but you did make the right choices. Those offers in that sport cannot hold a candle to your raising children and teaching incarcerated youth to write. If you never do anything else in life, you can consider yourself a success with those two blessed accomplishments alone. Continue on with whatever makes your heart happy and makes you strong, inside and out. Cheers!
WONDERFUL KAREN! I do my fighting with my advanced yoga presentations, resisting the predator globalist technocrat tyrannical agenda of total slavery one performance at a time!
Amazing Amy: Eccentric Yoga Entertainer!
As an entertainer, I have been devastated and practically destroyed by the closure of all performance venues and then when they reopened, because MY BODY, MY CHOICE - being made a total untermenschen pariah outcast in NAZI NIGHTMARE LAWLESS 'SHOW ME YOUR PAPERS' JAB CROW APARTHEID/DISCRIMINATION/SEGREGATION HELL NYC WHERE THE MAD/DRUNK WITH POWER TYRANT POLS DOUBLE DOWN ON THEIR ILLEGAL MANDATES. I am trapped here with zero financial resources to leave or do anything else about this 'wish I were dead' endless misery life has become. The tragic irony is that my SPREAD THE YOGA LOVE performances are all about health, miraculously overcoming age (67) and injury to achieve feats of flexibility few can attain at any age. So BIG PHARMA who wants to addict every person on the planet to their toxic products hate people like me who prove that we do not need them if we eat healthy organic food and exercise daily!

Dogs are my only friend. I am very obnoxious. My dog starts wagging his tale, do you want me to kick your ass? Then I hug him.
Nice work warrior Karen! "Poetry in Motion"
