I wrote it before my journey of “awakening” over the past two years. I’m glad it was published before that because it has the right feel for that time. This book is meant for everyone, not one particular audience.
For those who do not like dark science fiction, a gritty world with sex, drugs and violence, flawed characters, dealing with topics such as human trafficking, gay love, basically, just reality of the choices people make in life (in a sci-fi setting), don’t buy this book. It might offend you. For example, I personally don’t swear, I don’t like it, but my characters do and it’s important to me that my characters ring true.
I am writing the sequel (when I have a few free minutes), which brings us to the present time, and it will be quite a different journey.

I highly highly recommend this book! As a 50+ year readier fo sci-fi, this was a refreshing and interesting plot line. It's in my pile of "to read again within the next 2 months" books, because it's worth a second read. I love finding female sci fi writers who can do world building with such verve. Buy it!! You won't regret it.
