ABSOLUTELY it is about the kids. My own are 6 and 9. For sure I am afraid of what could be if we don't get it together, soon. That said there's about 8 primary schools and 6 high schools in this town, and I'm guessing/hoping most parents are going to get switched on before too long.
I am willing to speak up, but I have little to lose. It’s reasonable to be afraid of misread, demonized and canceled. Yet that is the very reason to stand up. Bullies only get worse if they get away with it.
Hi Socrates. You are welcome here. Thank you for subscribing.
In my article I don't get into any opinions I may have about Trump one way or another. I say, "Whatever else you might think of Trump, he didn’t talk 'upside down,'" acknowledging that not everyone has the same opinion about the man. I simply state the fact of what he said in that particular instance and that it was true.
I welcome a good debate anytime. It is very boring when everyone thinks the same. We are increasingly being pushed into echo chambers were people find offense far too easily. And anyway, I absolutely agree that Trump is responsible for pushing through the vaccines at "warp speed" and he has not denounced them. It's all a bit more complex than I can get into here, but I've written a lot of essays so far and they speak for themselves. If you read Twitter vs Remdesivir, you will see another issue I had with Trump. https://khmezek.substack.com/p/twitter-vs-remdesivir-12b
Socrates, I don't think Karen will kick you out. She believes in free speech for everyone. Speech with which everyone agrees upon is not in danger. It's speech that doesn't fit the narrative of the day that is the problem; the very speech that the First Amendment is there to protect.
I urge people who put their trust in Trump (or any other earthly being) to rethink their position. All human beings are flawed at best. In truth, our country was founded on the idea of principles, such as laid out in the Declaration of Independence and placed in the workings of our Constitution. No individuals are listed as examples. The principles are our guide star, not George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry or any other patriotic American.
Those principles have been eroded over time by silver tongued politicians for a myriad of reasons, usually selfish ones. I doubt that any president of this century has read the Constitution (4440 words) that they take an oath to uphold and protect. Few citizens have given it more than a cursory examination. I have asked individuals running for Federal offices to tell me the number of Articles in the Constitution and have never got a correct response. ( It's only seven so it shouldn't be that difficult.)
Anyone that believes Biden the Babbler is in control is delusional. The Deep State (all those bureaucrats) and groups like the Council on Foreign Relations are making laws and regulations; Congress is a convenient cover.
I love my country but after some serious study, I know we are in deep trouble. It didn't start with Obama, Trump or Biden. Our government has been involved in malfeasance for years, and it began before the ink even dried on the Constitution.
Yes, Socrates, I am a spiritual person but I don't pretend to know God's plan. He gave us free will, which is why I believe liberty is the natural state for humanity. Sadly, liberty comes with responsibility and too many have chosen not to accept the consequences of their actions.
The average person needs to find the courage to speak. The last two years the actions of government has further divided us into camps and we see those with which we disagree as enemies. Ask questions and listen and common ground can be found with most reasonable people. By engaging we will find opportunities for others to start questioning their illusions. Change comes one person at a time.

Thank you for your research and well written Essays. I have learned so much from reading them.

I miss President Trump dearly.
Link to the American Greatness page doesn't work
I have fixed the link.
Ugh okay. Thank you! I will fix it.
I'm not on my computer and on my phone I could only paste in the link. I will do it properly when I get home. Sorry about that!

humble opinion as to how this plays out:
currently... us v. them (elites, affiliations irrelevant),
then... sentinent beastly AI ‘IT’ v. them,
concluded with... sentinent beastly AI ‘IT’ v. leftovers of us and them... Jesus returns and disassembles beastly AI ‘IT.’

thinking now is a good time to go on offensive or at very least not comply.
