Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch was one of the great thinkers of the late 19th and early 20th century. He said the following before his death:

1. Belief in science only is the greatest form of heresy.

2. It takes a tremendous effort to deny the existence of God.

3. Belief in God is not knowledge of God, but the acknowledgement of God.

Wonder what he would say today to tranhumanist scum like Harari and his depraved degnerate partners?

The soul is godly. It can't be hacked. They will fail and be swept away into the dustbin of history.

The best lesson to be learned from failures of science, or of religion, or of our neighbors, is that there are no absolutes. There is much we don't understand, and everything we are absolutely confident of eventually disappoints us. What makes us human is the continued search for wisdom, even knowing we'll never truly find it. Our best outcome is to learn a little more every day.

Science is not a repository of truths. It's only a process for searching for truth. People want to believe fauchi for the same reason they want to believe their religious doctrine: a forlorn hope we'll shortcut the learning process, and will learn the truth. That has never happened, and probably never will. Keep learning.
