Great piece as always. I strongly disagree on one point. You said there’s nothing wrong with highlighting African-American studies. I totally disagree. TAA studies are already highlighted far more than any other culture’s studies, academia has skewed these studies to make that demographic appear to walk on water compared to everyone else, and because it is divisive.

What I'm saying is of course it's fine to have a department that highlights African American studies. As I stated, I wouldn't mind finding out more about African history, African stories, just as I would like to know more about Asian stories, etc. All of it should be available. It's the walking on water, as you describe, which is the absurdity I was pointing out.

I really appreciate that you are laying out some of the absurdity of wokeness. We need to keep trying, in spite of the growing insanity. I really wonder when these people claim these woke epiphanies, how do they talk themselves into it? Or are they lying for “Lefty cred”?

I thought I answered this so excuse me if I am doing it twice. I can't pretend to know what is in people's minds. The best way to judge is by their actions, which is what I wrote about. The difference between walking the walk and throwing money at a cause to make oneself feel better.

Just now catching up. As always, you highlight many of the things wrong with our society today. Thank you so very much for all that you do for bringing real truth out there for all of us. Please keep doing what you do. I really value your viewpoints and essays.

So many great points. Some things I hadn’t thought about, & it’s good to consider what’s actually going on.
