Now we’re in utopia. Everything’s decentralized. Everybody’s equal. But these systems end up hiding a new elite, which is probably just an old elite in a new arena.
Cryptos are, for the moment, just as valuable as the U.S. dollar, but much more volatile. The dollar will soon, thanks to the current leadership of the country, be worth about as much as the german currency at the end of WWI. Both the strength and the weakness of cryptos is the internet. Which, like it or not, is subject to the whim of the powers that be. The problem is - all currency depends on trust (faith in all the parties involved).
The current surveillance state and cryptos (cbdc's) are both in the process of being perfected. This has the current crop of elites salivating. They think they are bad (powerful) enough to force everyone into submission to themselves. But when the process is completed it sets the stage for a REALLY bad fellow called the man of lawlessness in the Bible. He will be backed by Satan and then all hell breaks loose. Looks, to me, like there may not be much time left on the clock. Pick your poison - or currency.
Might be a good time to seriously consider some of the words of the Son of Man.
(I'm paraphrasing), Don't lay up treasure on earth where moth and rust corrupt and thieves break in and steal. Lay up your treasure in heaven where it can't be corrupted or stolen. Where your treasure is - there will your heart be also.
Gold, too, is only as valuable as the value attached to it. It could well happen we go back to the days of exchanging one good for another. Grow food, learn a trade.
Go into the website goldback.com and it mentions the places you can buy goldbacks from and compare prices. On YouTube, you can also find interviews or videos regarding goldbacks. Pls. note the website is goldback.com Not goldbacks.com
ditto here-bouts! cash is king (wull, Johnny Cash at least ;-) heck, I even save pennies! (an' we cherish the copper ones--the new ones are are a joke, copper-free, sadly, like cornflakes)... even cents make sense!
My husband thinks that when this transition happens, for many the only way to survive will by going back to the barter system. Trading what you have that something needs or wants to get what you need or want. Most of the people doing this will be trades people who actually produce or do things that people need. Not the laptop crowd, who sit in their offices at their computers all day, doing busy work and producing nothing. Farmers, electricians, builders, seamstresses, carpenters etc, etc.
I think people will be trapped inside the system, just as they are now. Already most people don't really own anything. Actually, it's okay not to own anything. Jesus didn't own anything. The difference is that people keep on desiring stuff that they don't have and that's the trap. Instead of being content with just what they need, they are never satisfied. There will be people who will refuse to live like this but they will have no choice but to live outside of society as outcasts. That's a hard thing to do. I know that's not a very hopeful response but I can't see it happening any other way.
I think that what you say is true for the most part. But there is already an underground cash system here, because of high income tax or do trade, I'll make these steps for you if you build this bookcase for me. Many people especially contractors do cash only transactions that are off the books to avoid income tax. This is happens a lot in the construction industry and of course both payer and payee benefit. No tax for the payee and lower price for the payer. I think the rural areas will be the ones that move to barter. I think in the cities, they will be done. Where I grew up my parents grew a very large garden and this was in a more northern part of Canada on the northern shores of Lake Superior. We had a root cellar. Root vegetables there lasted all winter. We had a freezer. That's where the other vegetables and fruits like strawberries lasted the winter. We bought a side of beef from the farmer across the road or my dad shot a moose and a some partridges. We had a few chickens so we had eggs. My mother baked bread. My father was a lumberjack and a trapper and at times we were completely what one would call completely off the grid. No electricity, no communication and only heat by a wood stove for him to do his work. And we were satisfied. As a kid I never wanted for anything, the bush, was my playground with a few dogs. But I digress. My point is that the rural societies are the ones that will survive this invasion, although much smaller than they use to be, because they know how to survive. Because survival has always been the level at which they have lived.
Those were the days. I lived in a Swiss village as a child, then a French village, then as an adult I lived in a village in communist Yugoslavia. That was life in the village and I loved it. I think people will always find creative ways to do business. As you say, much harder on the cities.
The thing is, if you want to work, travel, buy and major purchase, you will need to comply. I had to put some things in storage and the only way I could rent the truck was if I had a smart phone since everything had to be done on the phone. I asked the guy what would happen if I didn't have a phone. He just shrugged like he could care less and said, then you can't rent a truck. That's just one simple example. But I do agree, people will find ways.
I confess to not understanding any of the Bitcoin stuff and I am ok with that😁. CBDC’s are quite frightening and the majority of the population have no say. Really scary.
Thank you for an Excellent Comprehensive piece of work... Digital currency's are a Dream come true for Big Brother.. behave or be starved.. remain in tangible assets as much as possible.. We will find the Work Around.. to the REAL.. there is always a Work Around..
All money is magic..it can be seashells or gold or fiat currency or salt. You have to look behind the curtain. The usd as Money has been destroyed and its use is over. It is no longer backed by gold or is it used anymore for the purchase of oil. The us does not own its oil or gas resouces..it is all owned by corporations who owe us no allegiance. Unlike Russia or Venezuela. All natural resources are now owned by Russia or other brics countries. The value bitcoin holds is that it is finite...only so much can be mined. I think there m8ght be wealth in farmland or timber..but at the rate they are killing our chickens and cows...you arexwealthy if you own flocks or herds but of course you are unable to defend it from your own government, me I think brics currencies are a must..they will transfer eventually into cbdcs which are all programmable..but at least brics money will be backed by oil or gold or some other valuable resource. The trick is to hold it in countries that might not slap capital controls on you. Some gold or silver some bitcoin..and some brics currencies ..all held in various offshore accounts. If you own a homestead, timber or farmland like Bill gates maybe you will be able to keep it,,,maybe. Other than that....there is now no sure repository for wealth they cannot take from you.
I like the concept of bitcoin..but if the grid goes down..no access.
as Groucho Marx said, "I'm against it!"--these things are energy-suckin' monsters (the bitcoins, nfts all that) an' folks have been killed fer their bitcoin passwords--it's just weird, sick, an' mebbe delusional--certainly somewhat fictional like the elusive Satoshi--sounds all like a ponzi scheme ta me--the losers pay, the winners (at the velly tip top) grab a bundle 'n run. given EMP warnin's, what heppens? Duz an' emp that kills all the tech totally erase all crypto? I feel like my country namesake but I'm all fer buryin' yer money in the yard, in the well, or under the ol' mattress. Heck, I don't even trust credit cards... I find the name bitcoin funny--back in the day ta see if yer $ wuz "real" ya bit it! If gold, it left an impression, if not, ya had a fake. By contrast money made with lead slug (casts beautifully but is sooooft) would bend--so that too wuz fake. It wasn't perfect but "bit coin"s were only a way ta test if you wuz bein' conned!
Most of the current CBDC development and deployment is Wholesale CBDC. If they stopped there and never implemented a Retail CBDC we probably shouldn’t care. Wholesale CBDC is bank settlement, both national and international. Wholesale CBDC makes the central banks, including and especially the Bank of International Settlements, the clearinghouse for everything, instead of the disparate network of giant and regional banks spread out all over the world. This represents the biggest change for national settlements(as opposed to international settlements which are already centralized through BIS). But they won’t stop there. In fact the Wholesale CBDC is a prerequisite to the programmable and fully traceable Retail CBDC. So when they are sufficiently implemented and confident on the Wholesale side, expect Retail CBDCs to follow with totalitarian alacrity.

I'll hold on to my greenbacks. They'll have to pry them out of my cold dead claw
Or buy goldbacks. It has embedded precious metal in it.
Gold, too, is only as valuable as the value attached to it. It could well happen we go back to the days of exchanging one good for another. Grow food, learn a trade.
Or start doing your emergency preparedness. The Late Prepper Substack has several helpful tips on preparing without spending a lot of money.
I am so glad you mentioned these....a great idea....like having a state central bank. I forget how much does it cost to get the gold put of them?

I agree. The problem is they have made it so most people don't understand it. Just the "smart" ones.
Bottom line I guess is that it is just another albeit a grand one, scam to further enslave the masses.
Yep. That's really all you need to know about it. Some people are so smart they are dumb lol. That's why I advocate for common sense.
Virtual Ponzi scheme IMO
💯
They (SRF & Billionaires) already have a virtual ponzi scheme... it's DEBT, most of it exists only in a virtual setting.
The main function of the CBDC is to provide the Owners of our lovely Civilization the even greater POWER to control the herds of MMS/2i's.

As long as there are Central Banks it doesn't matter what they issue / call it. Hook, line, and sinker....
KHM. I forgot to mention to say thanks for this information, it’s top notch research! 🥂🐸
You're welcome. 🙏
Thanks
Many thanks. This is very interesting, I will definitely read.
You are right on point. Let the wise take caution. The whole world is indeed full of illusion and scammers. Thanks for your enlightened messages.

Yes, humans are incredibly resourceful and creative. We always find a way.

Yes, it's a good concept. Or rather, a good story.
Powerful & informative article - thank you much KH. In GOD we Trust ...
