It's a bleak outlook for a lot of kids. They are so thirsty for a hero, just to touch something of a hero. I am so mad the hospital wouldn't let you in to see your friends because you weren't vaccinated. It is barbaric stupidity. Thanks for the story. I hope those guys are gonna be okay and that brutal attack doesn't get the best of them. It's amazing they lived through all those bullets. It sounds like the force of life wants to hear more from them.
Well, maybe this is easy for me to say because I've never bought a $115 pair of sneaks and I hope I never shall, but I think there were would be a lot less homicidal craziness out there if poverty were eliminated.
This kind of marketing directed at children is as old as television, and probably older. While there has always been jealousy directed at those who were affluent enough (and shallow enough) to pay extra for a logo, the escalating violence accompanied the breakdown of families, and the resulting destruction of values and character that's plaguing today's inner city children.
Haven't you noticed that the same mechanisms used to disolve foreign cultures are being deployed on our own. One might say what we're witnessing is the end result of hyper-militarism and exploitation. Those two unseemly variables result in a depraved fascist society where unrestrained corporations commodify everything, "especially" human beings. And the consequence is drug addiction, indigence, homelessness, and gang warfare. Sadistic monopolists cheer this depravity on, because they know when the culture is at its knees it'll be much more receptive about installing brutal controls which, unfortunately, will gain acceptance by most of the population. "The more things change, the more they stay the same."
I have said this here before.. and I wil keep posting this probably for as long as I live... , because from my perspective there is NOTHING more important than children, how we perceive and treat them...

NOTHING will change fundamentally, until we fundamentally change the way we perceive and treat children. Until then, we will continue to see childhood adversity re-enacted upon EVERY aspect of society.
Furthermore, #childhood #adversity more often than not consists of imposing utterly INSANE societal standards of "normalcy" on children, to which they MUST conform, in order to survive, at a time when they are too young to understand and reject the madness being imposed on them.
The "masses" are essentially clueless and unaware of their own conditioning...
