Here's a follow-up for those who are interested in writing to a publisher about my essays. Since I asked the question about publishing my essays, the world has exploded into such hatred and violence. The boxes they try to force us into are narrowing.

In case you are interested in sending an email to Trineday or someone else whose books you like, here is the letter John sent to support@trineday.com as an example:

To whom it may concern:

I’m writing today in hopes of getting information on getting a book published.  The author goes by the name Karen Hunt khmezek.substack.com

She has put out close to 30 essays over the last few years.  In my opinion her stories are amazing and her research is impressive.  My  feeling, as well as her other followers, feel her work is EXTREMELY relevant to what is going on in the world today.  We are hopeful someday to have her essay published in book form and feel TrineDay would be a great fit for her work.  I know she has had some children's book published in the past. Another plus, and no less impressive, are her illustrations and artwork.

I’m obviously not a writer, nor eloquent with words, but Karen’s essays, I believe will talk for themselves.

Thank you for your time and all the great work you’ve published over the years.

Thanks!

Karen

Oh yes, publish as a book. I have thought about that and did not want to ask. That is a great idea. I have saved most of them to my PC, but would be wonderful to have them in a book. I would buy too. Sent the suggested Email to Trineday.

I hope I can get a publisher to do this. Otherwise, at some point (when I have five free minutes ha-ha) will self-publish it.

I definitely think it is a GREAT IDEA!

I've never self-published a book. I might consider it, but not really excited by the idea to do that.
