"Keep your diseased ass out of other countries and don't use the callousness of their profit driven governments as justification, you pasty pallid plague bearer!"
Thank you Karen! Great article as always. I have to say it is nice to be able to communicate with like minded people through the internet as so many of my "real life" contacts have swallowed the kool-aid and cast me out of their lives. I like to imagine a day when those of us left standing can all meet in person somewhere and say, "Dammit, we are stronger for each other!"
I am a woman. I love being a woman. And I know women can do violence just as we can bring nurturing to the world. If the 'fake left' - like 'fake meat' - can make up all sorts of new wordspeak, so can I. I call what these women did to Karen Hunt 'ev' short for emotional violence. It is real and it can leave scars. There was a great exchange between Jordan Peterson and Camille Paglia where he ask what can be done when women go too far. He asked in the context of the male/female interaction but it goes for female/female interaction as this haunting essay demonstrates. https://www.jordanbpeterson.com/transcripts/camille-paglia/. I look forward to an exchange between Jordan Peterson and Karen Hunt. Like the Camille interview, I think it will be very profound.
Hello there. What would be even better is a discussion by wise women discussing women as full sentient beings and our part in human evolution from a biological, cultural and philosophical perspective. My dream panel would be you, Heather Heying and perhaps Camille Pagila with Peter Robinson of the Hoover Institute moderating. Heather made a comment that communication may have derived from women because we needed to communicate with others the location of edible plants. Taking that a hypothesis a step further, I wonder if that is where women tend to hold a grudge. As I told a friend, if a type of plant is going to kill your family, you better hold a grudge. I am grateful for the many male philosophers I follow, but I would like to see women discussing the topic of 'woman.'
Another excellent piece of writing!! In my experience women are absolutely more mean and vindictive without cause than men ever have been (in my personal experience). I am sorry you had to go through that. I had the same thing happen in 2020 because I happened to casually express to my FB group that having a conversation with a republican could actually help them understand issues better. You would have thought I was mandating them to get an experimental poison injected into their...oh wait, there was that going on too. One woman said, because I raised doubts that these quacksines had been tested enough, "I hope you catch covid and die." These were all women I have known, some for 40 years! So I dumped 85% of my FB group and spent 2020 having a breakdown/rebuild. Breakdown because who I was would never again be the same, and I wasn't yet sure who I was going to be. Now I am so happy because I have found whole new tribes of articulate, worldly educated (looking at you Karen!) and open minded, smart people. It's a pleasure to read their work, to share comments, to know that in fact, there is new world rising from the ashes of the old and shutting people out for not thinking the same way we do is going the way of the dinosaurs. It will be exciting, these next few years, as we see what we are really made of.
A lot of.good has come out of the last few years. Definitely a while new tribe. And 3 years ago, never would I have imagined I'd be writing on Substack. Did Substack exist 3 years ago? Lol
Great article, Karen. Honestly, if it weren't for double standards, some people would have no standards at all. I'm beginning to realize that a large number of people never think; they just regurgitate the party line, never stopping to think how stupid and biased they sound.
Thank you for continuing to write and share although I know it hasn’t been easy to share everywhere. The little people do need to speak up and not be chicken shits. It’s what will stop this madness. This must be soon after George Floyd when people lost their everloving minds. Even us who knew this racist bandwagon crap was going on well before George Floyd still piled on when it came to the incident. For me I resisted as much as I could without my head being bitten off. And now we know more about it. I do hope more people are seeing how the democrats use race as a tool to gin up the voters. It’s sick really. Politics and power are what is behind this need to pile on. I wish more people could see this and reject it. I just watched the duke lacrosse ESPN special. Bottom line is the DA was in an election year so he lied about the DNA to make the three white guys look guilty and grabbed all the media attention around it to boost his campaign which he won. I know there are some racist people in the world but I reject this notion of systemic racism. Most of us are trying to be better, to relate more, and coexist with different cultures but our politicians are keeping us from all getting along. We need to keep calling them out before they destroy our country.
on the evil Zuckbook, I've been careful not to unfriend my few real life friends I'm connected with there, even though they've fallen thoroughly for most of the pandemi-propaganda.
there were a few real life acquaintances I had to outright block though. one in particular and many of our mutual associates whom I thought might follow through on his threats.
he could not deny that the information I was sharing was legitimate government documentation. he freaked out about how that info "might dissuade people from getting vaccinated." told me he was going to stop me from sharing such things.
yeah, I don't think so, David. you and any of your friends who I think might try to leverage Facebook against my account are now invisible there, as am I to you.

Wouldn't that be amazing!
So reassuring to read your eloquent articles Karen. helps me to try to make sense of the madness & the courage to challenge.

That would be an interesting exchange. You never know...

Good question, I don't remember even hearing about Substack until all the brilliant people began writing there!

Great article. Sad world we have devolved into.

Wow. Gotta love how you can be ignorant and extremely vocal…if you’re woke. If not, they tell you to take your “backwards” ideas & stuff them 😩
You go Karen😄❤️
Haha! Doing my best to drive them all crazier!
