I’m 80 and feel like 46 especially mentally. Curiosity is the greatest; an inquisitive mind makes one happy and creates new challenges. Thank you for the article. Agnes keeps us older people stimulated and hopeful. Inspiration never gets old!

Wow, what an amazing and bright attitude Agnes has! I’m sure staying active throughout her life has much to do with her longevity. I’m astounded by her flexibility! So, happy birthday and may we all live half as well as Agnes!

Yes, isn't it strange that those who suffer the most are often the most joyful. Thank you!

My dad use to say "look back but don't stare!"....very wise good man, served his country and is a graduate of Princeton ,as was my grandad and great grandad, sang in the Princeton glee club as a true tenor and attended an Episcopalian church and served on the Vestry......I led him to the Lord as he was dying at the age of 83....Maranatha!!

What an' inspirin' tale! AND she was a professional cellist too--golly. After such hardships, her joie de vivre is both suprising an' a true mark of endurance (just as much as her athletic prowess)--an' also that she didn't give up even when havin' ta hide in plain sight as a maid durin' the war years. Bless'er--at 103 she's doin' a lot RIGHT!

Loved that she still inspires AND coaches children--wow, an' still doin' the splits too!. Bee-u-tee-ful story. And of COURSE that photo of you an' yer grandkids is bee-u-tee-ful too--they are too adorable--clearly "beaming" an' so happy to be with ya--now THAT is a blessing!

Those splits are too much lol! And yes, I should have mention she's also a cellist. Goodness!

I am surely blessed with my kids and grandkids. Yesterday I went to a spin class with my son and I was happy to know I held my own!
