Gibson is part of the Chrsitian Nationialism, and the offshoot of Catholicism like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson. I was raised that Jesus came to fulfill the law, he is the Messiah, a fulfillment of prophesy and as you say, in a sense, an extension of Judaism or rather a fulfillment of it. In no way did he ever condemn Jews, he was a Jew.

many thanks fer 'splainin' Karen--see I didn't grow up "understandin' " HOW there were these angry "haters" as they say--I didn't know it wuz called "Christian Nationalism" but yes, folks like Gibson, Owens, an' sadly Tucker too. I always had Christian friends incl. Catholics--we never talked much 'bout religion ('cept we all were not fans've Sunday skool lol) BUT I never understood why some Catholics were fine w/ jewish friends an' others the polar oppy-sit. That's so nice ta hear yer sayin' it that he didn't condemn jews--just as I read that article an' liked it muchly!
What exactly is "Christian Nationalism"? All I've heard about it is the left-wing reference to Christians who are patriotic as well. WHO are they, exactly, and how do we know those people are part of that "group"? I am not Catholic and don't know if those particular people are or not, but how do "Christian Nationalist" views differ from regular Christian views? And who are they, exactly?
And, btw, my Dad was a Southern Baptist missionary and I believe as you do about Jesus, who He is and what His mission encompassed, just for reference.
