Thank you the much needed reminder of hope. When times grow ever darker, such as now, we must continue to be light and salt to a world gone very dark and rotten. God be with us all out there, and may His grace ever be sufficient for all our needs.

It is a bit jarring to look at the events of the past with new understanding and a different perspective-Thank you for sharing your family's incredible journey- it certainly lends itself to the viewing of this picture through a very comprehensive and clear lens. We are all trying to sort through deception and truth the best we can- I think God's children must do this together -we all have something to add to help with this awakening. Thank you for your time and effort and using your craft to inform others of the truth.

If you read the events on what took place during the six day war on June 6th, the Israelis were anticipating losing 2/3 of their planes. The events that lined up for them that morning were truly miraculous and definitive proof of divine intervention.

Yes, I remember hearing about that, my dad would include it in his stalks/sermons, it really was amazing and filled me with so much hope.

Yes, divine intervention because only God's chosen people win wars and get Iron Domes paid by other countries. The lies spread...

Actually, they developed the iron dome and I'm pretty sure it didn't exist 55 years ago. But don't let facts deter your Israel hatred.

"Divine Intervention"? How about US military intelligence providing them with information on exactly where the Egyptian Air Force was and how to go about destroying it in an aggressive war. During that same war the Israeli air force tried to sink the USS Liberty intelligence vessel located in the Mediterranean, and killed and injured many US sailors. All with the help of President Lyndon Johnson and John McCain's father who was an admiral at the time. Wake up, people! Collateral damage for the evil forces carrying all this on to this day have been the two million displaced and imprisoned Palestinian people who have gallantly fought back against the Zionist government of Israel. Karen, it s an impressive act to wake up and begin to realize that most of what you have learned in a lifetime of political events and history is actually a Potemkin Village. Keep reading and learning and you'll find that the Israeli story, as you know it, is just one more of life's illusions brought to you by a very effective propaganda machine.

This was 1967. US intelligence gave nada, zip, nothing. Have a nice day.

June 8, 1967 Israeli airforce killed 34 US sailors wounded 170 more but were unsuccessful at sinking the vessel. The US shouldn’t support that Zionist aggressor with one thin dime.

"For myself, the past two and a half years have led me to question everything our government tells us about our history and current events....I’ve heard many who once were proud to be Americans say they don’t feel that way anymore."

Karen, thanks for giving voice to what many of us can not explain.

I've been talking with my older brother, him, like our father and grandfather, also a veteran, tho' his war was Vietnam, and mine much later ones. His disgust and despair (which I'm beginning to share) is disheartening. Even returning from that war to an unfriendly, ungrateful and hostile public did not alter his love of country and commitment to service. Yet, now, after these (many) years of lies and manipulations, he is seriously questioning his devotion.

I can not tell him he is wrong; I'm fighting the same battle. As are you and many others, to some degree, apparently. Now my son and his wife, both serving, I can only advise that I question our proud family tradition, and that if I was asked to do it over again, now, I would not.

I could not.

It's really difficult. I always had these thoughts because of my travels throughout my life and living in other countries. I was living between London and a village in Yugoslavia during Reagan's presidency, and I would go back home to California and the minute I landed I was hit by the onslaught of advertisements, and everything was about money and that's what success meant. It didn't sit well with me. But all along I still had the sense that the United States was the freest land with the most opportunity. Now it's gone too far down that evil road and it's hard to know if it can ever get off of it. Very sad for your brother. And your family. To be in the military you really should be able to believe in what you are fighting for.

Intriguing thought about going back to how things were pre-Covid. I don't know actually. I work in academic health care and I unfortunately had to be treated for cancer this past 12 months. I have certainly had my eyes opened.
