Thank you for all your prayers and encouragement with my hip surgery. And now, I just have a little something to say about Tommy Robinson and Jacob wrestling with God.
Firstly, I am so happy that you are healing from your op. Anyone who is so healed in mind and spirit deserves to have optimum physicality as well. Secondly, thank you for focusing on Tommy Robinson. He is a hero and imprisoning him in isolation in an effort to break him is such a big injustice. The Pakistani rape gangs in the UK have been grooming, raping and torturing girls who are still children almost with impunity in the UK for well over 20 years and the blame for it gets put onto the girls themselves as their lives get ruined. Parliamentarians have publicly opted to do nothing about it because they want the Muslim votes. The police have to undergo 'Islamaphobia' training run by a company called Respect that is owned by the Muslim Brotherhood. School teachers, social workers, councillors, the judiciary, etcetera, all have a part to play in its continuation, and the scandal is so big now it could bring down the whole country if justice came into play. We need to keep talking about it. We need to not let them get away with it any longer. We need to save more girls from getting swept up into this evil. I'm not sure how we can do that but as long as people are speaking about Tommy it helps. So thank you again. xxx

I heard his fire when I listened to another recording. He is passionate about his country and his people. He is a seeker after truth, but even my husband cannot see what I see. I didn't know he did this visit to Israel. I knew they work very hard to silence his voice....what a travesty

maybe not kick boxing but you will be able to practice some of those moves to regain your agility. I bet your therapists are impressed with your strength
I had a total hip replacement a couple of years ago. Had a spinal block instead of a general. I was only in hospital about 6 hours and walked out that afternoon.
My father was 97 and had surgery on his elbow from a fall outside, his olecranon process completely broke off. the surgeon, seeing that daddy was completely physically fit and able, they did a spinal block at his neck (those anesthesiology guys made me leave the room for that... and it made me sad, I kept insisting that I was an olden ortho RN)
and when I was allowed back in the room post injection, my daddy said that was the most painful injection he ever had. I believe they did the brachial plexus block, which they first numb the area, then my sonography, use a long needle to reach that network of nerves.
My dad had a very quick recovery and full range of motion in a week! PT was rough but I was wildly impressed.
Ugh, that sounds horrible, a spinal block in the neck. But I'm sure much safer than putting him under. It's amazing what they can do these days. And wow, your dad sounds amazing.
I had a two taps when I was clobbered with meningitis and sick as a dog, and felt nothing. I had a third when I was mending, although there was no pain the electrical shocks were brutal.
The doctor guys told me the healthier one is, the more difficult a tap is for the patient.
So deep in the rear view mirror you gotta squint to see it! When you go through that stuff just keep reminding yourself it’s only signals to the brain and you’ll be done in a matter of minutes.

Yup, SOME "aspics" of modern medicine are not medi-SIN.... tho' sadly too much is. Heartenin' ta know how the team helping ya Karen is so good... Interestin'ly since we rescued my ma (long story) from the clutches of mediSIN an' adult protective services an' got her just this past week livin' among other seniors, I could swear she's gettin' more cogent... an' she got it with five jabs--all forced on 'er. The human body kin be AMAZIN' an' we just gotta count our blessin's that in spite of all the MESS the whirled is in, we CAN heal an' mend an' lift our spirits! I loved this from Tommy Robinson--he's a brave one too, ain't 'e? An' funny! Talk 'bout puttin' his money whar his "mouf" is...I did see the film, boy golly he wuz railroaded... Mebbe someday the whirled'll ketchup... fer now we're all seein' that DJT, as I feared, is no friend've we joos... Israel'll have ta prevail on 'er own...HER own ;-)... keep on healin'! I too hope ta be back ta stackin' soon now that my Ma's safe 'n sound an' outta harm's way!

Mr. Robinson has paid a heavy price for his journalism and every one should watch this excellent documentary. Also a shoutout to KMH for drawing attention to this horrific problem plaguing the UK and America, really any country that has opened up and has allowed Muslims into their countries. These people (not all) will not assimilate to become good citizens of the host country, KHM has explained this in many of her essays. I hope people start to wake up and pay attention to the cancer that is spreading in our communities. Elections have consequences!

as an olden ortho nurse, it was not always this easy. I am thrilled.
My job was at the complete opposite of the P.T. point.... and many of my patients called it
Physical TORTURE because therapy was too kind and sneaky of a word. those sneaky "therapists" haha hahaha I am thrilled that hip surgery has become so less invasive and quite much more advanced! Ortho surgeons are amazing. they are the fixers.

I kept on walking and doing weight training up until the day before surgery and that made a difference. They were also impressed with my balance.
