I've said many times I'm not religious. Religions are manmade and inevitably become corrupt and the cause of much bloodshed, as you say. However, getting rid of religion will not solve mankind's problems. Actually, we can't rid of our need to be connected to God. We just go about making that connection in the wrong way.
I follow Jesus, which makes me a Christian but I don't like to even use that term anymore since it has been hijacked. I can't think of a y flaw in Jesus teaching.
