Wonderful and beautifully descriptive and illustrated as always! The essay about your father being a missionary and the experiences of your youth containing the story of those genie bottles was the first one I ever read. I’ve been hooked ever since!

Thank you Karen, what a wonderful story and a brilliant reminder to keep alive all the beauty, wonder and magic of being human. My husband had Early Onset Alzheimers Disease so I really do understand about Walter; and my condolences to you. It took years of weird and bizarre behaviour before there was a diagnosis in my husband's case, which previously everyone had ascribed to a mid life crisis. It's a very cruel disease because the person you once knew is lost in a world of their own. A spiritually discerning person I knew who had some experience around Alzheimers, theorized that they are shedding the astral body which makes up the personality prior to passing over; hence the disintegration & fragmentation of the personality which normally takes place after death. As they've gone through that process beforehand while still in physical form, presumably they will then have an easy time of it, passing into the spiritual realm with one less process to go through. Who knows.

Maybe i buy some of your books. Living in Europe, stove red hot and nice cold weather outside, i just love winter, a hot tea and a good book. And then go biking while all is frozen, just awesome.

About the people died near you, cancer can be cured when you go running or biking.
IBrings a lot of oxygen in your system and that kills cancers. Another thing, you can cure Alzheimer with a Tibetan kind of fermented stuff, Shijalit. It helps.
