While I think the whole 9/11 thing is another false flag, i think it's naive to say that Islam is the religion of peace. So much happening that I think ultimately is trying to drive us further and further apart. I think the best thing we can keep doing is keep talking, even when we disagree, and stay friends even when we disagree. I've lost too many friends and family over the last few years because people won't just listen and discuss.

I am equally confused. I have for years and still do believe, the Islam religion is a cult and is dangerous. Someone will correct me and define cult. In this world, the higher up a person gets in the hierarchy, the more they must do to compromise their integrity. Just a little at first and then more and more, all justified to themselves along the way. We ordinary folk are so far down on street level we can't even begin to understand the world someone like Henry Kissinger inhabits, or rather inhabited. I had opportunities to climb up that ladder as president of the nonprofit I co-founded, but I could not compromise myself like that. Never regretted my decision.
We focus on these powerful people, but there is an army of ordinary people, some might be monks who've devoted their lives to prayer, or a grandmother in a village, etc, these are spiritual warriors who balance out the evil with good. No one will ever know their names as social media influencers, but they have more importance than we can ever contemplate. When I get discouraged, I always remind myself of that. I was thinking that good people need to start non-profits to combat the Clintons, Soros, Gates and others 501C where they put money, don't pay taxes and divert that money for political reasons. The Govt sends our tax dollars to NGOs to do things we don't want done and have a degree of separation to hide what they are doing. The USA is donating to NGOs everywhere to do the dirty work; transport illegal immigrants, fund them, etc.

I wish I could be hopeful. I just haven't seen enough good from people in power. That power does something to them. For those less familiar, here's a quick summary:
After WWII, the British, looking to exit the complicated situation they found themselves in in the Middle East, planned to hand back the mandate they had received from the UN.
The UN dispatched the UNSCOP committee to determine the region's future. The committee proposed several plans, with the well-known Partition Plan eventually being accepted by the majority of its members.
The Jewish community accepted this plan, and a majority of UN members voted in favor of it.
However, the Arabs rejected it, similarly to their earlier refusal of the Peel Commission's recommendations (a topic for another post).
So, why then did the Arabs reject the partition proposal?
Primarily, they were confident in their ability to swiftly defeat the Jews, eliminate them, and seize the entire territory.
This conviction also had a significant contribution to the Nakba as it led them to advise many Arabs to temporarily vacate their homes during the conflicts, expecting to return post-victory - a victory that, of course, never materialized.
Yet, this is not the core reason.
Pay close attention now:
The primary reason Arab leaders rejected the UN's partition proposal was their own disbelief in the Palestinian people's right to self-determination. In fact, they were opposed to it! Indeed, that's exactly as it sounds.
Arab leaders never recognized Palestinians as an ethnic group with self-determination rights, but rather as a part of the larger Arab nation.
As those knowledgeable in history (and not propaganda) understand, there were originally no 'Palestinians', only Arabs.
The Arabs' national goal was to create Greater Syria, covering today's Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and Israel, a vision outlined in the McMahon-Hussein correspondence of 1915-1916.
Therefore, they rejected any proposal that independently defined the Palestinians, as such a distinction simply did not exist.
(Interestingly, this truth is widely recognized in the Arab world. While not often acknowledged publicly, it occasionally surfaces, as seen in a video I'll share in the comments)
So next time Palestinian history, culture, or their right to self-determination is discussed, remember that while the world, Jews included, were willing to acknowledge this, the refusal came from the Arabs themselves, who recognized the idea of a Palestinian nation as a UN fabrication. -- Oren Barsky
Thanks Karen you took your time to replay my comment. I did follow your substack for a while, finding resonances in my own visions and search of true or at least clarity, in a very obscure times.
I will of course pay attention to the new sources of information you bring here, because I am not an historian, and I have not all the pieces of the puzzle to reconstruct history.
I don´t agree about your suggestion about the lack of identity of palestinians. Nations in Middle East were a western construction. There were before an Empire, the Otoman. 400 years I guess? What is important, more important than the ideas we can -with our western minds- construct about what is a nation or identity, it is the deep connection the people who live for generations and generations in a place, connected to the land, to the earth, to their ancestors who are part of the earth there. Indigenous folks. These is a bond, a sacred one, who we don´t know about. We can look for this bond in the place we live, in connecting with nature in the more deep way we can, in a very respectful way and gratitude.
But when I read some texts where somebody rescue speechs of letters of the chief Josef (Nez Percé), Crazy Horse (Lakota), and others left behind, we can learn about a connection with the cosmos, simple and profound, who brings meaning to all around.
The people of Palestina are the people of these land, a land who anothers decide they must bring to people who were rejected from Europe (who has a dark anti-semitic history) and other western countries. Originally the Zionist Asociation (or perhaps the name was something approach to this, I am not an academic, sorry), they thought in several locations (Argentina, Madagascar, Palestine) possibles, and THEY with the UK (Balfour and ROTSCHILD-who always have another intentions not good for none than his-their interest-), decide for Palestine, with any consolt or accord with the indigenous inhabitants -who include ortodox jews too-, to begin with a colonization project. Bad news for the people of the land, as any colonization project by design is. Or history shows another positive outcomes?
Later the with UN decide the destiny of this land, and impose an idea. If the arabs or not the arabs, is not the question. Palestina is Palestina. The folks of this territory are the folks of this territory. Look today the arabs and their submission to the globalists and the geopolitics they play: the feelings and need of the folks are not important for their monarchs and rulers, with some exceptions.

In this world, the higher up a person gets in the hierarchy, the more they must do to compromise their integrity. Just a little at first and then more and more, all justified to themselves along the way. We ordinary folk are so far down on street level we can't even begin to understand the world someone like Henry Kissinger inhabits, or rather inhabited. I had opportunities to climb up that ladder as president of the nonprofit I co-founded, but I could not compromise myself like that. Never regretted my decision.
We focus on these powerful people, but there is an army of ordinary people, some might be monks who've devoted their lives to prayer, or a grandmother in a village, etc, these are spiritual warriors who balance out the evil with good. I was thinking that good people need to start non-profits to combat the Clintons, Soros, Gates and others 501C where they put money, don't pay taxes and divert that money for political reasons. I wish I could be hopeful. I just haven't seen enough good from people in power. That power does something to them. For those less familiar, here's a quick summary:
After WWII, the British, looking to exit the complicated situation they found themselves in in the Middle East, planned to hand back the mandate they had received from the UN.
The UN dispatched the UNSCOP committee to determine the region's future. The committee proposed several plans, with the well-known Partition Plan eventually being accepted by the majority of its members.
The Jewish community accepted this plan, and a majority of UN members voted in favor of it.
However, the Arabs rejected it, similarly to their earlier refusal of the Peel Commission's recommendations (a topic for another post).
So, why then did the Arabs reject the partition proposal?
Primarily, they were confident in their ability to swiftly defeat the Jews, eliminate them, and seize the entire territory.
This conviction also had a significant contribution to the Nakba as it led them to advise many Arabs to temporarily vacate their homes during the conflicts, expecting to return post-victory - a victory that, of course, never materialized.
Yet, this is not the core reason.
Pay close attention now:
The primary reason Arab leaders rejected the UN's partition proposal was their own disbelief in the Palestinian people's right to self-determination. In fact, they were opposed to it! Indeed, that's exactly as it sounds.
Arab leaders never recognized Palestinians as an ethnic group with self-determination rights, but rather as a part of the larger Arab nation.
As those knowledgeable in history (and not propaganda) understand, there were originally no 'Palestinians', only Arabs.
The Arabs' national goal was to create Greater Syria, covering today's Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and Israel, a vision outlined in the McMahon-Hussein correspondence of 1915-1916.
Therefore, they rejected any proposal that independently defined the Palestinians, as such a distinction simply did not exist.
(Interestingly, this truth is widely recognized in the Arab world. While not often acknowledged publicly, it occasionally surfaces, as seen in a video I'll share in the comments)

I will of course pay attention to the new sources of information you bring here, because I am not an historian, and I have not all the pieces of the puzzle to reconstruct history.
I don´t agree about your suggestion about the lack of identity of palestinians. Nations in Middle East were a western construction. There were before an Empire, the Otoman. 400 years I guess? What is important, more important than the ideas we can -with our western minds- construct about what is a nation or identity, it is the deep connection the people who live for generations and generations in a place, connected to the land, to the earth, to their ancestors who are part of the earth there. Indigenous folks. These is a bond, a sacred one, who we don´t know about. We can look for this bond in the place we live, in connecting with nature in the more deep way we can, in a very respectful way and gratitude.
But when I read some texts where somebody rescue speechs of letters of the chief Josef (Nez Percé), Crazy Horse (Lakota), and others left behind, we can learn about a connection with the cosmos, simple and profound, who brings meaning to all around.
The people of Palestina are the people of these land, a land who anothers decide they must bring to people who were rejected from Europe (who has a dark anti-semitic history) and other western countries. Originally the Zionist Asociation (or perhaps the name was something approach to this, I am not an academic, sorry), they thought in several locations (Argentina, Madagascar, Palestine) possibles, and THEY with the UK (Balfour and ROTSCHILD-who always have another intentions not good for none than his-their interest-), decide for Palestine, with any consolt or accord with the indigenous inhabitants -who include ortodox jews too-, to begin with a colonization project. Bad news for the people of the land, as any colonization project by design is. Or history shows another positive outcomes?
Later the with UN decide the destiny of this land, and impose an idea. If the arabs or not the arabs, is not the question. Palestina is Palestina. The folks of this territory are the folks of this territory.
