I was asked my pronouns. I am 73. I said ‘excuse me?’ ‘What are your chosen pronouns?’ ‘Umm, well I use them all. I really don’t have any favourites’. I look confused. They say which ones for myself. I brighten up. ‘I guess I and Me’. They start to explain, look at each other, decide I am too old to understand this, and let it go. It was pretty funny. You get to do things like this when you’re old.

And her complaining that the women's soccer team receives less $$ than men for doing the same thing was super annoying. Right now women don't play at the same level which is presumably in part why Title VII was enacted to give a needed boost. I am a martial artist. I used to like to spar with men because the women - back then - were kind of clunky. I remember telling my partner how I could hold my own against the guys. He deadpanned, "we hold back." Ouch. Reality hit my ego, but he was right. And when we lie about reality we can't create real solutions. The solutions are as illusory as the mythical problem.

I like the Babylon Bee’s article on Caitlyn Clark, the university women’s highest scorer of all time. She got a lot of

Excellent article! The situation in Scotland is absolutely dystopian! They keep pushing this trans-humanist religion on us, to see just what we are willing to accept in terms of their controlling us completely. We MUST keep pushing back against it.

I was supposed to go to Scotland in a few weeks but had to delay my trip. I really am interested to see it first-hand.

It’s ok to smear Christians but say anything about a man dressed in women’s clothes and you are attacked.

I actually believe this transgender nonsense is a mental illness. Anyone who says a man dressed in a skirt or competes in a woman’s sport is a little insane.

It might be more excepting if the lgtqbrFJB movement didn’t try to force their opinion on me or my children.

Expand full comment

Agree. I don't have anything against adults doing what they want to do. But this agenda of insisting we all agree with them is absurd. But of course, there is a larger agenda here, which I write about so it's all very interesting to me. It seems, though, that more and more women in sports are standing up against this. It's concerning, however, that they have to do it without support from their coaches or sports authorities.

Expand full comment

My thoughts exactly - in a free and Democratic society we as adults should enjoy personal freedom and accept responsibility for the choices we make WITHOUT making an ideology out of such choices. I have such sweet memories of shopping in NYC 20 years ago when transvestite men flamboyantly shopped in women’s section. Everyone understood and no one judged as the men pretended to look and act like women but didn’t claim to be women. What is happening now is absolutely tragic.

My father underwent struggle sessions in Prague in the 1950s. They were a joke, compared to China because while millions did suffer economic deprivations, Czechs never took the Commies too seriously. After a struggle session, the men would go for a beer, the "leader Comrade" would look around to make sure no one was listening (still risking one of the group being a snitch, of course) and say: "Just between us, comrades, I think these five year plans and struggle sessions are a load of crap. But as long as the beer still flows, we will be alright"

(the above is mostly in jest because times were very tough, but it does contain a grain of truth)

Like us, many many people would find it awful for this young athlete to feel she must apologize for doing nothing even remotely wrong. But I wonder how many fans of U.S. women's soccer would be upset enough to BOYCOTT the games, attend no games, watch not a single one, purchase no T-shirts, coffee mugs, bumper stickers etc. It becomes quite disheartening to find that many say they are outraged, voice that outrage, but are not willing to make even the smallest sacrifice for change. Sports are great, in so many ways, no question. But if you see injustice and REAL bigotry, the bigotry of the woke, and well ... to miss out on TV broadcasts of people running around and kicking a ball ... that's just asking too much. Grrrrrr

Expand full comment

Exactly! The responsibility seems to lie solely on the shoulders of the female athletes. I've even heard people criticising them for not speaking out. It's taken time for some athletes to gather the courage to do so and for good reason when no one else is willing to put their money where their mouth is!

And all of this stuff is increasing. Here's a post went up today, the league officials, whole system not willing to lift a finger to help the women athletes, who are getting clobbered by a team that has 5 men. Honestly, I doubt it would even make a difference. I love soccer. Been watching it forever. I knew eventually this would affect the game. These women need support not for fans to walk away. I would like to see fans come to the game with a banner that says we love you Korbin and you were right! Or We are so proud of you Korbin for standing up for what is right. Now that would be courageous. I can't afford these games or I would but I am posting on social media and i was thrilled to see this article. I will be sharing!!!!!

Expand full comment

Thanks for your comment. The pessimist in me won't argue with your doubting that it will make a difference. But to my way of thinking, I imagine the strongest, potentially most effective means of supporting these woman athletes is to bring pressure to bear on the decision-makers who are allowing this to happen and continue, and are happy to do so as long as it does not impact their profits and prestige. As for banners, protest marches and things like that, I cannot lie ... I see such things as woefully insufficient to affect something as dangerous as the entire gender, trans evil. But yes, expressing support, in any way, for the woman suffering from this is certainly a good thing. Moral support, absolutely.

Sumthin's topsy turvy alright when the ol' tenet, "it's a sin to tell a lie" becomes twisted inta tellin' a lie bein' a virtue--so virtuous it's defended by the gubbamint(s) an' all who tell truth are in hot water. Men ain't women any more than I'm a box turtle or a soupe de jour... My younger daughter (still a teen) applied ta a summer program at a local university an' I could not find a single "gender" that applied so I had ta check off OTHER an' "write in" FEMALE--kid ya not! (There wuz cis this an' that but I didn't give birth to a "cis"--I had a girl an' that's whut I put down.) I also added in the "anythin' else we should know" field that the summer dorm roomate needs ta be a "biological female." I hope ta heck they "understand" what that even means--given that even our supreme court Just-Ices (the fruity Italian kind mebbe? I like the limonato...) CANNOT define whut a woman is.

JK has balls (ha!) an' bless 'er fer keepin' 'em on behalf of all us gals. An' this other young lady Miss Albert also deserves a hats off!

Ah, bonnie Scottland is now BARMY Scottland--jus' thinkin' how once upon I time I went ta the Fringe Fest there (theater fest) an' it wuz the most hilarious NON-PEECEE ball ever--no censorship, everybuddy wuz fair game (an' game too!)

That is so crazy. Will they not accept your daughter because of her wanting a real female for a roommate???

Expand full comment

She got in! (surely on her own merits--it wuz all audition-based submissions) but I actually worried that her chances might'a been compromised by my stubborn stickin' ta my guns an' "writin' in FEMALE" for gender under "other" an' writin' in the "non-peecee" simple note that the roomie needs ta be a "biological" female.

I'll tell ya, all these insty-2-shuns are co-opted. Whoever in the heck thought that "female" would be a write-in option? (I'll add that this is "thee-ate-her" - an arena most insanely woke-i-fied but my girl is purdy strong and she'll push back if they try ta git her ta state her pronouns)

My thought is that if they only want teens that'll "walk the walk & talk the talk" it's be a bad fit--the fact that they were willin' ta deal with a female applicant who doesn't want a cross-dressin' roomie bodes "tentatively" well tho'--they didn't say no!

Until we push back EN MASSE this will not stop! I have a female friend who buzz cut her hair (long story why), and who never wears make up. She was working in the garden, realized she needed something from Home Depot and zipped over there to pick it up. While she was there, a young kid said “Yes, Sir” to her, after barely looking at her. My friend laughed when she told us about it. She did not yell at the kid, or call management to complain, or post an irate video about it. She did what a rational adult would do, shrugged it off and went on about her business. These people are amazingly fragile and take themselves WAY too seriously! They can live however they want (barring harming others) but they cannot force me to participate in their delusion. Full Stop.

I agree Nancy. Over 50 years ago, sex meant Male or Female….Filling out applications for employment, schools, etc. Asking what sex are you, meant Male or Female. Normalizing transgenderism is distracting the public from questioning all the endocrine/hormonal disruptors “gender benders”like atrazine. Research shows frogs exposed to atrazine turns male frogs into female frogs. Or causing asexuality in humans and animals. Parents of transgenders should sue Bayer/Monsanto and all the Agri-chemical corporations.

But I thought being woke was all about accepting other peoples' views and being kind and loving toward all? Am I missing something here? Are these "Hate speech" laws the hallmark of being "inclusive?" It sounds like everyone must believe in the new "science" that gender is fluid and there is no biologically assigned sex at birth. Is that correct? This movement appears to be ushering in transhumanism and doing away with the traditional nuclear family. It's like something straight out of Huxley's "Brave New World." Is that something that everyone will be forced to accept under these new "inclusive" laws? Will people be free enough to express their traditional Christian beliefs or will they be deemed illegal? Will being a Christian be deemed illegal? Dark times ahead. I choose to put my trust in Jesus.

Expand full comment

Free speech needs to take precedence, else we fall under tyranny. To me, it's pretty simple. As for the rest of it, everyone has their own take on things. I also believe-- and this is part of free speech-- we need to respect freedom of religion. (And if Jesus works for you, that's fine by me.) Therefore, in my way of thinking, her apologizing was a contemptible kowtow to tyranny.

And JK Rowling rocks.

Expand full comment

She’s a young woman who was threatened. She made a mistake. She would be far better off standing up and not kowtowing. But she isn’t contemptible.

Expand full comment

I agree with you, there is reason to have compassion for her, however, I didn't say she was contemptible. I said her apoloigizing in this way with these words was, in my view, contemptible. I said, precisely, "in my way of thinking, her apologizing was a contemptible kowtow to tyranny." There is an important difference. I disapprove of her action as I perceive it, not her as a person (how could I, I don't even know her). I stand by my words.

Expand full comment

I don’t know how one can say a person did a contemptible act and not automatically include the person doing it as being contemptible.

Expand full comment

That's one way to see it. I don't because I see lots of people say and/or do contemptible things since, I suppose, they just don't know any better, or they did know better but in a moment of fear or lust or greed or distraction or whatever they made a mistake-- and although they did or said that contemptible thing, they might well be quite wonderful and beautiful souls. Or not. I'm not inside other people's minds and hearts so I can't claim to know-- but I can be optimistic! And I usually am.

Anyway, I don't think any human being gets through life without doing or saying some things they would have done very differently, had they another chance. (And certainly no one can get through life with 100% approval of their every action and utterance from everyone else.)

SIMPLE SOLUTION in 3 steps:

Pray MAGA: Make America God’s again. Make the world the kingdom of love. “God is love”. Why can't Governments have partnerships with NGOs after bidding? Governments could favor and work with religions, especially those helping the poor and sick.

The US national motto is “in God we trust”1, the Oath of Allegiance sums up in “so help me God”2, and the Pledge of Allegiance is “I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

“Under God”, not only means under God’s protection/providence, but also under God's will/authority and commandments. Separation of church and State means "freedom of conscience", i.e. that a Government should not impose any particular religion. It doesn't mean that public officials can't show and live their faith in public, and it means that the State must always put all actions "under God", definetely not “over” or against God’s Will. Lincoln: “the nation shall, under God, have a new birth of freedom.” 3

MAGA (Make Assets Great Again): money should be 100% backed with gold and real assets. This makes masonic counterfeiting harder. They are buying everything with virtual money: listed corporations, media, medical system, political parties, prosti-ticians, universities… !

Get the murderers out of government: force masons to self-identify by law under severe penalty (their oath doesn't forbid self-identification, also, evil oaths are void). Freemasonry is the church of Lucifer. “Separation of church and State” requires eliminating the freemasonic demono-cracy over Government (theocracy comes from “theo”, God, “cratos”, power, but this has nothing to do with God, but Satan and his demons, so it’s a demono-cracy).
