Just Brilliant! Couldn't agree more. Through collective meditation and expression of love for mother earth and every inhabitant, we will shrug off these absurdities and collectively evolve our Spirituality for true Heaven on Earth. Your parents sound like lovely people and so adventurous. My parents were the opposite, they were lovely too, but they thought the safest place for six girls was home.
I don't think any of this madness will stop until we find the pipeline that fuels this biotech innovation warfare and expose the legal framework and consent stealing word trickery. We need to find the booby trap that sucks people into the silo of death that fuels this insanity. I can imagine Christ saying, "Yeah, in order for you folks to save your civil selves, you're going to have to save the "so called, undesirables."
Michael Shellenberger would make a much better Governor of California but his idea of bringing back state mental institutions to hold the homeless gives me great pause.
I haven’t seen anyone ask but it would be informative to know how he plans to avoid them becoming the facilities of abuse that caused their closure decades ago.

i have this sweet fantasy (this is a dreamland scenario) where there is a sort of reverse rapture, and the people enacting the current madness all succumb to the folly of their devices and inventions ... the resulting scene looks alot like the image you provided at the end. and that was a great injection of hope (the only kind of injection i'm looking to get these days).

But, thanks, also, for the restoration. The story of your father buying a convalescent home, your mother's kindness, and your happy watercolor. I needed that, too. What an anchor these memories must be for you.
I read this piece several times. Thank you so much for your amazing writing. A day doesn't go by without some sort of negative crisis or event. I've gotten to the point where I think everything is a lie and researching everything. One thing is true and that is Satan exists. I often rack my brain why is all this happening now and who is the leader and why is no one calling them out. How much more can people take? One reader's comment suggests getting rid of phones and credit. I believe she is right. The technology was the beginning. We are not living and becoming less and less human every day. I can't believe I don't pick up the phone not knowing who it is and have a spontaneous honest conversation with a human hearing their voice. Them was the days.
